Somewhere in my childhood, I internalized the idea of myself as chubby. Food seemed to be an emotional crutch for me.

The problem with this, is that this picture stayed in my mind as a teen. Now, when I matured, I did acquire a normal feminine shape. Off and on in the following years, I worked hard to stay slim, but still managed to add a few extra pounds along the way.

I found a picture of my mother before age forty, and she was very slim, quite a contrast to the somewhat overweight person she had become. She told that I would start to gain weight after I turned 40. "Nope," I said to myself and pretty much get that promise but had gained about 15 pounds over my college weight

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to try a revolutionary weight loss product that had medical professionals excited. I started it immediately and in 2 1/2 months I lost 13 pounds and a total of 18 inches.
